A tower moment in tarot is when life starts throwing it at you nonstop, or when something happens and it changes things. Most people view this as a bad thing and sure while going through it, it doesn’t feel so great. The point, however, of the tower collapsing is to bring everything down the ground so that you can build new, a better foundation, bricks that are strong and full of lessons you have learned. It gives you the option of leaving out the weak ones, the things you don’t need that do not give strength to you. It’s a lesson that’s a blessing, you just have to shift your perspective.

It’s hard to remember in life that perspective is everything. That how you view things can really change how you accept and grow as a person. Sometimes things happen for you, not to you. I firmly believe that life is about living just living doing things, having experiences. The point is not about winning, we can’t win, none of us get out of it alive. The point is to just live, to experience things, do things. You don’t have to win, you just have to play. Stop playing so small. Watch life change when you play higher stakes.

I was born and raised in the smallest of towns in Southwest Virginia. A town that is extraordinarily active, yet a town that is like it's very own little mini Bible belt. My dad was Baptist, my mom pentecostal, and I'm paranormal. I would venture to say it is somewhat of a family trait. One that is met with equal acceptance and curiosity as much as it is met with skepticism. Individually and collectively so much has been experienced and witnessed at times to such a degree that one might wonder how on earth there is room for doubt. I dont have all the answers, I do not have it all figured out. Im as human as everyone else relying heavily many mornings on a lot of coffee and a little Jesus. In fact, I can't decide what I want for dinner most days. One constant is I cannot go a single day without chocolate. Pour a cup of coffee, or a little tea and whiskey and join me in my confessions of a haunted freak.
