The Veil Thins In April

We associate a thin veil with Halloween.  There are other times of the year that seem to consistently result in a thinner veil.  Spring is one of those times.  Typically in April, I find there is heightened spiritual activity every single year.   Speaking of spirits, it was brought to my attention years ago that spirit loves to be around their families during special times like Holidays.

I was shown this first by my grandfather many years ago. He made it a point to show me in more than one dream visit that they love to join in our family celebrations, Holidays when a lot of us gather all in one place. We laugh, we eat and they watch.  They come around at times that are significant for them such as the anniversary of their deaths.  They will come and visit with family every year on the day of their death and I’m not entirely sure as to why. In fact, I see them come around more during that date versus their Birthday.

Spirit will also join their loved ones on occasions that are significant for them.  Such as a daughter’s wedding.  They are there for births. Sometimes they do pop in at random, kind of just to say Hi. Other times they really want to give us some advice because they see our lives unfold in a way we can’t they will see the whole picture.  If you’re lucky you will get a dream, though they don’t always communicate the most direct, other times they do. Pay attention to the theme of the dream, the setting, and the big symbol in it.  They will help guide you to the message.

I just wanted to pass along to those of you celebrating this week. They would sure love it if you would speak to them at some point. Remember them, toast to their memory. Find comfort in knowing they are there, for the good, the bad, the ugly, for always.

I was born and raised in the smallest of towns in Southwest Virginia. A town that is extraordinarily active, yet a town that is like it's very own little mini Bible belt. My dad was Baptist, my mom pentecostal, and I'm paranormal. I would venture to say it is somewhat of a family trait. One that is met with equal acceptance and curiosity as much as it is met with skepticism. Individually and collectively so much has been experienced and witnessed at times to such a degree that one might wonder how on earth there is room for doubt. I dont have all the answers, I do not have it all figured out. Im as human as everyone else relying heavily many mornings on a lot of coffee and a little Jesus. In fact, I can't decide what I want for dinner most days. One constant is I cannot go a single day without chocolate. Pour a cup of coffee, or a little tea and whiskey and join me in my confessions of a haunted freak.
